Here you find lots of useful information about your upcoming holiday, along with some frequently asked questions.
You can use our Portal to check the current status of your booking, pay balances and add your group's details for online check-in.
In order to access our 'My Booking' portal you will require your 'booking confirmation number' or email followed by your surname and arrival date associated with the booking.
Providing your mobile number will enable us to send you a text when your holiday is ready on the day of your arrival.
Your holiday accommodation features online check-in, meaning there’s no need to pop into reception to pick up your key. Simply head straight to your accommodation and your key will be securely waiting for you in a safe location.
On the day of your arrival, we’ll send you a text when your holiday home is ready and to let you know your accommodation number, as well as details of how to find your accommodation on park.
Your code to access the key to your holiday accommodation will be the last four digits of your Reservation Number.
We will do our very best to try and get your unit ready for your designated check-in time, but please bear with us if there is a slight delay in your holiday home being ready, we want to ensure your safety is our top priority so our cleaning procedures may take longer than usual. We will send you a text when your holiday home is ready.
You're welcome to use the facilities on the day of your arrival before checking into your accommodation.
Please ensure that you use our Guest Portal to check-in after you have arrived and settled into your accommodation to notify us that you are on park.
Upon departure, please leave your keys in the key box outside your holiday home.
We also kindly ask that if the weather is good you open all windows of your holiday home and leave them on the latch, in order to help ventilate your accommodation.
There’s no need to visit Reception to check out or return your key! As a reminder, the check-out time is 10am for all our self-catering accommodation.
What you can expect:
All beds are made, ready for your arrival.
Towels are provided in all our hot tub accommodation and Select+ lodges.
We therefore do not provide towels in our Select lodges or our range of caravan accommodation (with the exception of our Sublime Hot Tub Caravans) and advise that you bring your own. For accommodation where towels are provided, we supply one hand towel and one bath towel per person.
We recommend bringing your own toiletries including soap, shower gel, shampoo and other bathroom necessities.
There are no hairdryers in any of our caravans or lodges.
Please note that cot linen is not supplied.
All our accommodation is non-smoking, we ask that you do not smoke whilst in your holiday home.
Pet owners, we kindly ask that pets are always kept on a lead whilst on park.
If you have booked pet-friendly accommodation, we politely request that you do not allow them in the bedrooms.
If you have booked accommodation with a hot tub:
The hot tub facility is not operational before 9.00am in the morning and after 10.00pm at night as this will disturb other guests.
We change the water ready for your arrival. As it takes time to heat up, the water may not be up to the desired temperature on the day of your arrival.
On your departure day, the hot tub will be emptied from 8.00am. Information about operating the hot tub can be found in your accommodation.
To ensure you enjoy the best possible hot tub experience please read the information regarding its operation and safe usage displayed by your hot tub.
There is usually room for one car next to your accommodation, however this is not guaranteed.
There are additional car parks, usually near reception, where you can park any additional cars. We kindly request that you do not park on the grass next to any of our accommodation and instead make use of the shared car parking areas.
Our self-catering parks feature free Wi-Fi. Please be aware that this service is suitable for light browsing and checking emails from your accommodation, but during peak times may be limited.
Streaming/gaming/video conferencing is not guaranteed. For a more consistent Wi-Fi experience please visit the park's main complex.
You're welcome to use the facilities on the day of your arrival before checking into your accommodation.
Woof's Workshop daytime activities - We've introduced a range of new daytime activities to keep the little ones entertained at Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park. Be sure to reserve a session to secure your space! These can be booked here for Shorefield Country Park and here for Oakdene Forest Park.
Dining – Our bars and restaurants (at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park) are offering both inside & outside dining. Check out the signage on park or download our Shorefield Eat app to browse the menu and to order to your table. Just Search 'Shorefield' in your preferred app store.
Go Active+ at Oakdene Forest Park – Sessions will need to be booked in advance and you can book here.
Make a splash in our swimming pools!
During the school holidays and the peak season, our lifeguards will admit entry via a band system, and you will be able to enjoy a one-hour swimming slot, so that we control the pools capacity and ensure that as many guests can enjoy the facility.
You do not need to pre-book; just go to the pool of your choice, and a lifeguard will issue a wristband for your allocated session time. To maximise your session, we suggest you come ‘swim-ready’ where possible.
Please remember to bring your Park Pass with you for entry.
EV charging points are available on some Signature hot tub lodges. We also have charging points located near our main complexes on many of our parks.

All our Signature lodges, Treehouses, Lavender House, Wisteria House and Honeysuckle Cottage have check-in from 2pm
All other lodges (Select, Select +, Superior and Superior +) plus The Burrow, Tudor Rose House and Sublime Hot Tub Caravans have check-in from 3pm
All remaining accommodation (Supreme, Serendipity, Serene, Sensation, Seaside, Statement Caravans and Flexifleet) have check-in from 4pm
Check-out is by 10am on the day of departure. Note: Sunday departures for two night breaks are by 7pm.
You are welcome to arrive earlier and make use of any of the parks facilities, but please do not head to your accommodation until you have received your text confirming that it is all ready for you.
Yes, guests and owners staying at any of our parks can make use of any of the facilities across all our locations.
BBQ stands are fitted to the decking of our Sublime caravans, Select+ lodges, Superior lodges, Superior+ lodges and Signature lodges (therefore these are not available on Statement caravans, Sensation caravans, Seaside caravans, Serene caravans, or Select lodges). These are for use with disposable BBQs.
You may make use of your own BBQs at our self-catering parks with caution. We recommend that they are not used in the separation distance between holiday homes as this poses a fire risk.
If using a disposable BBQ, these must be raised off the ground and should not be used on any surface that poses a fire risk or risk of scorching, such as decking or grass.
Check-in less and holiday more. We no longer operate a reception at Merley Court Holiday Park. All our wonderful accommodation features online check-in with your keys waiting for you securely upon arrival. Here's what you can expect:
Shortly before your holiday starts you will receive our pre-arrival email, where you can register all your details and begin the online check-in process.
On the day of your arrival, we’ll send you a text (and an email) when your holiday home is ready and to let you know your accommodation number, as well as details of how to find your accommodation on park.
Simply head to our woodland lodges, approach the barrier and use the button to call our team, who will let you in. Your accommodations keys will be waiting for you in our secure key box. Attached to the keys will be a barrier fob, so that you can come and go as you please during your stay.
Please do not head to your accommodation until you have received your text confirming that it is all ready for you. Once you have settled in, you will be prompted to check-in via our online portal.
In the unlikely event of experiencing any difficulties or something’s not quite right, our onsite Warden is on hand throughout your stay.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in Pooch Corner in the main complex at Shorefield Country Park, as well as in 'The Atrium' at Oakdene Forest Park. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing drink or a bite to eat in the company of your canine companion. We regret that dogs are not permitted in the main areas of The Beachcomber (Shorefield) or the Acorn Bar and Restaurant (Oakdene). We do ask that dogs are kept on a lead at all times whilst on park and that pet owners are responsible for their dogs at all times.
The locations of our parks make them the ideal choice for a holiday outside of the main summer holiday months. The area is beautiful at all times of year with many local tourist attractions staying open for a large part of the year.
At Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park, our leisure facilities and indoor pools remain open throughout the year (with the exception of Christmas Day & Boxing Day).
Entertainment at Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park will be less frequent outside of peak holiday periods, but there is regular entertainment and activities all year round. You can view what's on in our entertainment calendars online or in our app!
Some facilities such as the outdoor pools are only open in the warmer summer months.
Please note all our facilities across our parks will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day to give our teams some well-deserved time off with their families. This includes our swimming pools, gyms, entertainment, bars and restaurants.
